We have two offices: Rockville (451 Hungerford Dr, Ste 310, Rockville, MD 20850) and Clarksburg (23244 Brewers Tavern Way, Clarksburg, MD 20871). Choose the location that is most convenient for you. Both offer the same quality of care from Dr. Yen.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on your condition and goals. Some patients feel significant relief after one or a few sessions; chronic or complex issues may benefit from a longer course of care. We'll discuss a recommended plan during your visit.

Is acupuncture painful?

Most people feel little to no pain. You may feel a slight pinch or dull sensation when needles are inserted. The needles are very thin. Many patients find the experience deeply relaxing.

Yes. Dr. Yen offers Chinese herbal medicine as part of integrative care when appropriate. Herbs can support acupuncture treatment for a variety of conditions.
